==Adaptronic ECU Winter Sale==

Hey guys, It seems that in most parts of the Country Winter is upon us and we all know that means a lot of us will be starting on our Winter projects. We have had great success with the Adaptronic PNP units for the FD's and have them running on about 10 of our cars here at the moment in the shop. On this ECU we have produced over 700whp on the FD platform with the intention of pushing it further.

-Features

This Adaptronic ECU uses a generic supplied USB cable to access every portion of the ECU for real time tuning( not a flash tune).
You can switch on the fly between maps( 1 street, vs 1 track map etc). You will need to wire in an external switch for this.
This unit has closed loop tuning when parred with an external wideband. Innovate Wideband units plug directly into the ECU via serial connection, no soldering required. When an Innovate Wideband is used the controller will tell the ECU if the sensor is bad, and automatically change from closed to open loop tuning.
The Adaptronic can self tune itself all of the time, even in boost, and has a wide range of fine tune ability. It can not only trim the fuel maps, but self edit them if setup properly. The unit also does the same for idle control, and transient throttle( throttle response) The Adaptronic uses Volumetric Efficiency Tuning. You input the fuel injector size, engine size, injector dead band timing, and the unit uses internal algorithms to deliver a more accurate & linear tune twice as fast as millisecond tuning. The injector staging between primary and secondaries is also automated, you never have to touch this. VE tuning when parred with closed loop AFR feedback gets rid of the need to re-tune when there are large ambient pressure or temperature changes. Some ECU brands offer VE tuning for batch injection, but this will not work on a rotary. The Adaptronic is able to use VE tuning with staged injection. Staged injection is what all rotary engines use.
You can listen to knock through a set of regular headphones if you have the OEM knock sensor hooked up.
Although the ecu is setup for the stock sensors, you may request to unlock certain features to use any sensor you like.
If you ever want to use E85, there is a closed loop tuning available. Just add a flex sensor like the Zeitronix.
You can do a push to pass cockpit switch for track cars( temporarily increase boost when pushed). Requires an external switch which is sold separately.
This unit has a entire map for boost control. Add a $40 MAC 3 port boost solenoid and you have a electronic boost controller. You can do boost control based on transmission gearing( uses the OEM factory tranny sensors). All you need is a boost solenoid hooked to the ECU, and you can set max boost based on each gear. For example, 10 psi in 1st, and 2nd, then 15psi in 3rd, and 20psi in 4th/5th.
The ECU is compatible with most Race display dashes, like the RacePak, AIM, and Race Technologies units.
This Adaptronic unit has Traction Control Capabilities that cut the ignition in increments of 1% which gives you a gradual torque reduction for better traction control.
You can control the rev limiter, or over-boost setting based on fuel cut, ignition cut or both.
Compatible with PLX multi-display guage, and Android phones for real-time engine parameter display.
Data-logging with both external AFR & EGT components
Built in Auxiliary Injection Pump Controls
Maintains OEM functions- Cruise control, ABS, Stability Control, Dash features, and Check engine light.

So back to the deal at hand we want to offer something up that will further help you complete your project and that is Tuning. We do all Tuning in house and with the purchase of a PNP unit we will knock 15% off of our Tuning Services. If you follow us on here or on FB you see the numbers we are able to produce while Tuning the Adaptronic ECU. Here is an example of one of our recently finished projects.

If interested you can PM us on here or give us a call at 865-982-4109

How does it know which gear you are in? Do you enter settings for rpm vs speed and it figures it out that way? I don't think my tranny has a gear sensor other than neutral and reverse.

Hi all, yes, it just correlates the RPM and speed and finds either the closest match or the first match within a given tolerance. To set the speeds if you're using non-standard ratios (JDM vs AUD had different ratios for example) you just need to drive the car in each gear and click "learn" on each gear. Doesn't require any sensors on the gearbox other than the speed sensor. The Series 4 doesn't have a speed sensor, but series 5 and FD do.

It's described in our setup of boost control to do boost by gear.

So is there actually a sale on Ecu's as the post states or are you being deceptive with the title of the post? I came into this post ready to buy a new ECU because of the headline but I guess if theres no "ECU Winter sale" I'll buy from a different vendor..

If you PM him he'll probably give you a price better than any other dealer around. He takes care of the rotary community.

There is no street price or "deals" to be had on these computers. Every dealer sells at full retail. Product value deflates overtime as seen with many other companies who allow the opposite.
