This listing is for a pair of aluminum pedestal base plates designed to significantly enhance stability of factory RE-Amemiya spoiler mounting brackets (aka "stays") which come supplied with their GT-II wing.

RE-Amemiya GT-II spoiler wing is a great addition to a Mazda RX-7 FD3S in terms of superb downforce and improved appearance. However, the mounting brackets it comes with provide rather less than desired support. Because of their narrow footprint, once mounted onto the trunk lid, RE-Amemiya brackets are known to sway sideways causing lateral movement of the wing. The wing basically remains flimsy no matter how tightly it is bolted down. It is also not uncommon to see these brackets dent FD's trunk lids when driven at higher speeds - once again an engineering design flaw attributed to the same narrow footprint which fails to spread out the applied pressure from received downforce.

I designed "pedestal base plates" to work as an extension of RE-Amemiya wing mounting brackets and provide solid support to their popular spoiler. No more movement, swinging, vibration. No more damage to your beloved FD's trunk lid - no matter how fast you drive.

Product highlights:
- The pedestal base plates are CNC-machined using 6061 aluminum blocks.
- Featuring a channel precisely cut to accept RE-Amemiya brackets, and matching existing M6 holes for the mounting bolts.
- Anodized in matte black colour for clean look and protection from oxidation.
- Supplied with pre-installed 6 mm thick gaskets made of black neoprene.
- Bolt-on installation - no modifications are needed.
- Weight: 356 g / 12.5 oz per plate.
- Made in Canada!

Please refer to the attached pictures for more details.

Price: $250 USD or $350 CAD.

Selling a cluster and surround for a 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 FD3S.

Everything is in decent condition, BUT, the cluster will need some TLC. It currently doesn't light up as I can see there are some blown capacitors. Michael Gange can make quick work of it and is highly recommended.

Mileage was reported as 67,xxx when pulled.

Asking $400 for both pieces or best offer.

Located in Metro Detroit and can ship no problem.

I’ve been driving for a few thousand miles after my rebuild, and in the past week, the car developed some vibration. The car starts and runs fine and revs up without problems, but when driving and the car hits around 25 miles an hour, the steering wheel, dashboard, shifter, and pretty much everything else begins vibrating. The vibrations continue as the car speeds up, but they are less violent because it’s vibrating at a higher frequency. The vibrations are the strongest at 30 miles an hour. If I release my foot from the gas and continue at 30 miles an hour the car stopped shaking Also, if I engage the clutch, it stopped shaking. Or if I accelerate the car significantly, the shaking stops. It shakes when maintaining a constant speed or barely accelerating. It’s not any tire or suspension issues because I put the car on. Jack stands and ran it in gear showing the video below. I checked you joints and driveshaft connections. Everything looks fine no obvious issues or dent in the driveshaft or missing balancing weights. I checked engines and transmission mounts for vibrations and they feel solid. It’s possible that the driveshaft is bent or warped, but it’s not very significant if that’s the case. The video below is me running the car on the jack stands it’s in third and I’m holding it about 25-30 miles an hour. I have a full video, but it’s too long.
Not sure what else it could be. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!
