ah, good old Brainerd, one of my favorite tracks... the roll on racing wasn't even on the main straight... which is 6000 ft long! maybe i will make an effort to get up there this summer. it would be fun.

fortunately where you spun, main straight is 60 ft wide.

nice going blowing all those guys away. i think one or two of my motors were there.

maybe see you this summer. was the full track open for, uh, high performance driving? if so what did you run thru turn 1? i see you have nice spring rates on the car.

Yes Zach was there I was troubleshooting his spark plug issue... I was the "friend" that gave him the NGK Racing plugs to fix his break up issue. The event was Powercuise and racing on the turns is against the rules & the speed limit is supposed to be 100mph... (They generally only enforce it if it looks like you are being out of control) I also learned a big lesson about this event.. I will no longer be going WOT on the main straight... The compound on the track which makes it excellent traction when dry but its like a skating rink when a foreign liquid is on the track. There is usually 20-30 cars on the track at a time which there is a very high chance of something getting on that part of the track... The scary thing was that after this happen I was on the track again but going slow on that part and someone had coolant on that part of the track... (The event officials do not watch that part of the track any more then the rest of the track) If I was racing on that part of the track in an actual event I would be pushing 150+ going into that turn lol its a LONG straight.

The next event I am participating in is Proving Grounds on September 5th-7th. I will be doing the Auto-X & if they do have this event "30mph-130pm". I still do not feel I know my car enough nor the car is setup correctly to really push it on the road course. I want to get a hood/front spliter/under tray/FIA seats/harness's... Which I am going to shoot for next year and take the 3 day SCCA licensing course @ BIR.
