I replaced it with a aeromotive fpr when I bought a fuel kit for 1680 secondarys years ago, I don't actually have any bad experiences with the stock fpr, I just figured its a good idea to upgrade it since fuel pressure is important, but maybe others can chime in about it.

i also have a similar set up soon to be finished,
stage 2 street port motor
stage 3 bnr's
greddy intake
greedy front mount ic
racingbeat down pipe, and dual tip muffler, straight piped(no cat)
coolmist meth kit trunk mount
nippo fuel pump
fuel rails
850cc & 2000cc
installing the meth injection and headed to dyno tune this next week, i was wanting to get around 400rwhp but after reading this it looks like its going to be easy!

Are you spraying before turbo or after? What size injector nozzle are you using? I am spraying post turbo with a 440 cfm injector with a 50/50 mixture of water and methanol.

The stock wastegate doesn't have a spring…. it's a simple flapper door.
Bryan at BNR has always stated that the restriction is in the shared turbine housing itself.
