Looking at buying a pair of 18x10 with 40 offset has anyone had experience with that wheel spec? What tire size looks good with them? Thanks!

I think that is a great spec and I would run 255/35/18 all around on them.

Get the RX-7 fitment that was mentioned. 18x10+40 is tight up front.
