Total agreement with you on this point REVLUC. I run Work Meister 3 piece wheels in 18-inch and am well aware of the penalty I pay in heavy unsprung weight, but I'm not a track junkie ... At some point I may go with uber-lightweight wheels ...
Yeah, imo an RX-7 is like a rolling sculpture... Definitely a work of art.

Agreed, I can't wait to drop it 3" or so. Just got in the Concept-7 +25mm fender liner extenders yesterday to go with the Eurou +20mm front fenders when they arrive. Hoping they link up. (pic below) I definitely was sweating on what size tires/look to achieve vs. cost ratio- willtheyfit.com helped a lot with the final decision. Hurry up and get those new rims mounted DeeSan, I can already tell they're going to look sa-weet... (What are they btw? Can't quite tell)
I have another set of rims to try out on the 7 one of these days, w/ some square sidewall road race tires. I came across this set of never mounted 'new old stock' Volk Racing Touring Evolution Fortesst 17"x10" +40 Squared rims, internationally shipped from Russia, pristine og stickers and everything so I had to grab 'em up. (Discontinued in 1995 or so; the predecessor to the TE37! TE= Touring Evolution) Possibly the only original untouched set in existence? Not sure if I'll keep or sell.
How did you order those Concept-7 fender liner +25mm extenders? I can't find them on the concept-7 website.
They made them for their new fender design (with the two slats) There are pics in that section on the site of them mounted. I contacted them via email to see if I could order them separately. I expect to possibly need to trim a couple millimeters off the edge to fit inside the 20mm fenders. Email reply from Concept-7 (info@concept-7.com):
"Thanks for your enquiry, yes sure we can supply you a set of our arch extensions please however bear in mind that these were made and shaped to fit our own +25 wing, they are not shaped to fit any other but there is enough meat on them to adapt to FEED wings but the shaping to fit is over to you buddy. If you want a set they are £20 plus postage."
So basically $31, plus Europe to USA shipping of $25.
They are a nice thick fiberglass material. Might be better in Urethane, but should be able to move some and the stock plastic will flex as well. Preview, with HotWater Labs CF LED Reverse lights:

Here is my setup. 18x10.5 +15 Work CR Ultimates all the way around. 255/35 front and 285/30 rear. I still have the rear flares to mount and modify, so I will use a spacer when that time comes to bring the fitment to where it needs to be again.
How much did the set cost you? and where did you get them from?

I could talk to him and see what he could do for price on them and get back to you. Mine are indeed the ultra deep concaves and they look soooo much better. I actually don't even like these much without them being concave
Threw my new wheels and brakes on for the first time the other day. I've got to lower the car a bunch more, but this was just to see if the fender work in the rear was going to cut it. 18x10.5 +22 TE37's with 285/30's all the way around. Stock rears, Feed fronts.

I know lol... I wasn't a fan of these wheels till I saw the deep concave ones. Now I want a pair or a full set.

Jose likes to go full lock but it's true those kiwamis are looking good! Even better than I thought they would on the FD. Might look weird from the rear on yours though, since your car is so wide.
thought I'd post up here for some assistance and show off my specs.
Long story short - I bought my wheels because I loved them, the rears weren't going to fit properly so I ended up going FEED wide body, then they needed spacers to bring them out a little. The tyre on the back is quite tall and means the car is technically flat, but the front fender is much higher. Basically a **** fight. I love my wheels, but want to make the most of the wide body, so am finally going to get a new set of shoes and tyres.
The goal is to level her out, drop it down a little and go wider.
I'm looking at 19" Work CR2P (Matte Black, Step Lip) as they afford me the flexible offset and width and was wanting to get some opinions.
Current set up: 19x9 +25 (235/35) and 19x10 +25 (255/40)- with a 15mm spacer making them effectively +10
New set up, thinking: 19x10.5 +28 (265/35) and 19x12 +30 (305/30) (1mm poke front, 5.5mm poke rear according to the calculator)
What do you guys think? I based those offsets off of other rides in here and my current set up. Just wanting feedback. I don't mind mild stretch, but fairly meaty.
