my FD front always scrapes on right turns...WTF?

As the titles says, whenever i take a fairly hard right turn, the front end scrapes. what could cause this? I just replaced the shocks and got tokico's and have them on the 2nd hardest setting. Could i need new springs? My car has 91k miles so that would be my guess. plmk

Thanx,
Zach

You should change the springs, that's what couses the tires to rub, usualy the left side spring goes bad before than the right one for the simple fakt that the most of the miles are done without a passenger.

I had the same problem since about 80k miles.

Hope this helps !

TwinTurbo93 is right!

Spot, on TT93 - not only do you have the extra 15~250 lbs of driver on the left side of the car, you also have a very heavy battery placed right over the left front, which causes that corner of the car to get quite 'heavy' under lateral loading on a right hander. Springs get fatigued over time. Replace them and you should be fine. You should make sure that you don't have any other suspension issues, though. Check your linkages, bushings, and mounting rubber for the shocks to make sure nothing is loose or collapsing, too.
