IA Buying wheel & tire package

Hey all,
time to put new shoes (and socks?) on the FD.
Anyone have any recommendations on getting wheel & tire packages from a known good supplier?
I would go through tire rack, but their website refuses to let me put anything wide on the car, and I can't look at wheels by size.
Looking for something 17 or 18, 8.5-9.5 in the front, 9.5 or 10 in the back.
Stock body on Ohlins suspension.
I would go with the RPF1, but everyone I know has them on their car. want something similar, but different. (thinking PF01, or used TE37, etc.)
I know there used to be a guy on here offering help/good prices, etc, but I can't seem to remember who he was. ARD T2 or something like that. He hasn't been on the forum for months, though.
Anyway, thanks for the help!

I could be wrong but most options will be used or custom to fit the offset of the FD. Then again, I wanted wide wheels. I did a set of forgestars and really looked around before i made the purchase. It was a good decision for me.

I cant make many recommendations other than watching the used wheel market or going custom.

Calling TireRack is the better option for ordering tire/wheel packages. Or what I do is search wheels under a bigger, similar car. For example, if you search RPF1s under 94 RX-7, only the 9.5" in +45 offset will come up for 18". However if you search 94 Supra Turbo, the 9.5" +38 and 10" +38 options come up in 18"

I just ordered a package from Discount tires...TSW Valencia wheels.... front 8x18 et 40 with Nitto NT555 255x35x18 tires....rear 9.5x18 et 40 with Nitto NT555 275x35x18. I already rolled the front fenders (car has OZ Monte Carlo 8x17 et 37 with Toyo R1's 235x45x17 on it at present, Eblach springs lowered the car about 3/4 inch, stock brakes)....I didn't want to roll the rear, it may be close! I followed the fitment guide started on this tread (excellent job...thank you Flyweight!!). Any feedback on this set-up? I'll post my results, it may help someone....this fitment thing can be overwhelming, if you want to avoid mods and mistakes! The Discount Tire package included free mounting, balancing and shipping...with rebates it came to $1345.

I haven't checked out discount tire as of yet. I'm opening another tab to do that now, though.
That seems like a pretty sweet price for mounted, balanced, and shipped wheels & tires.
Definitely agree about being nervous (and overwhelmed) about things fitting. Let us know how it goes!

CCW (Complete Custom Wheel) will do wheel and tire packages - and they seem to know our cars well to get you a good fit. But they are a higher end wheel so they won't be inexpensive.
