sensor 2

can somebody please tell me where sensor 2 goes to on the ecu??? my voltage is like .09 and it goes down to .025 under acceleration, and i know this is low and not right but i dont knwo where that wire on the ecu goes to!!

i dont know if this is related but my car does not go over 55% a/f, but on occasion, it seems to be after the engine just warmed up, it will hit 77% a/f and pulls like its supposed to but its slow as a honda unless it hits that extra 20% a/f and its getting old! somebody told me with these mods i should not be able to keep the boost down, but in first and second it dont go higher than 7 lbs, in thir it will sometimes hit about 10. when it hits that 77% it feels like its an extra 50 hp or so.

its a 87 t2 with a 40k on the engine, it has ceramic seals, 3" downpipe, rb catback, no cats, 255cfm walbro, 720 secondaries, and blitz intake/ bov, and safc

ive been doing component checks for the past couple weeks and so far i have checked, maf(replaced), wastegate, waste gate actuator, safc connections, turbo, intake leaks, vacuum leaks, twin scroll thing(when on stayed at 13volts and didnt rise or drop, with car off, ignition on it read like 1.9), spark plugs, fuel filter(now new), coil packs, boost pressure sensor, fuel pump(atleast i hear it running). i may be forgetting some things but ive checked a lot. i still have to check the injectors but i dont think tahts what it is because the car hits 7 grand and it runs better with the safc leaned out a lil, like -7% at 7k

anyone think they might know what gives??? its really annoying missing all that power, if theres anyone in SC i would pay to have them just find out what is wrong, cuz i need to be concentrating on college and not reading up everynight like i do on my car.

It shouldn't be connected to anything. It's only used for Skyline GT-R's, which have two AFM's and hence need two AFM inputs on the S-AFC. If the S-AFC is set correctly for an FC the S-AFC will be ignoring that wire, so you can too.

How old is the turbo? Maybe it’s time for a rebuild.

ahh this makes sense now. twin air flow. ok, thanks a lot.

i dont know how old the turbo is, it probably is getting close to needing a rebuild but i dont know if that is my problem simply because it will hit boost, and it sometimes hits that 77%. i would think if hits it occasionally that the turbo is not the problem. i also did the component check on it, and it was fine, the blades spin freely, and under load it hits boost.

my other concern was the waste gate, i want to say its the origional one, but i did a component check on it also and they say get a vacuum line hooked up to a air pressure source at put 14psi on it, and it opens, but is it possible for the stock wastegate not to be strong enough to handle the mods of the car? almost like it opens up to much due to the pressure and doesnt allow the turbo to spool all the way and doesnt allow as much a/f? when it hits 77%af it hits thru first second third, and then it just goes back to what it normally is.

i have only ridden in two turbo cars, mine and my friends heavily modded eclipse gst and i remember how quick the turbo spooled and what it looked like in comparison to mine. but i know mine, if i dont give it about 3/4 throttle i dont spool all 7 lbs
