If you are going for very simple bolt on mods and not going for top hp, then the SAFC and SAFC II are good, ableit limited piggyback fuel controllers.
If you are going for high power, the SAFC simply doesnt cut it. Its tuning capabilities are very limited...

umm...maybe I'm wrong. But the best way to tune an SAFC is usually by an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) gauge rather than an A/F gauge as far as I know.
I suppose a wide-band AF is better than a normal one, but on the Subaru's, we only tune via EGT as it's always been the most accurate way to see lean/rich conditions.

good point, they are best off used in conjunction with each other.
As for placement of the EGT, so long as it's in the header, it should all be the same...or so I thought...

I just ordered a safc from corksport, I dont have an o2 sensor on my car, Im running true duals, where would be the best location for the new o2 sensor, front or rear rotor and how far down the pipe should it be mounted?
