rtek 1.7, a wideband, and an safc is a pretty decent setup. the next level would be a standalone lol. but do both, its a good combination.

rtek 2.1 vs rtek 1.x and apexi safc
as far as tuning goes, what would be best?

How is that working out for you?
I'm on the same decision right now.

per the rules I'm not allowed to go stand alone. Well I could but then I would have
to go up a class. I'm staying in the stock class. My only mod will be the
RB Rev II exhaust. Engine is stock. Just rebuilt with all new housings and plates.
I was just going to go with the rtech 1.5. I have no way to control boost
so I was just looking at my best bet for fuel control. With in the rules I can
also use an SAFC. But I like the idea of the rtech 2.1 better which is also within
the rules because it stays in the stock ECU housing and uses the stock ECU
hardware. If I could go stand alone I would.

Or were you refuring to the rtech 2.1?

I kind of consider it a little bit different then a full stand alone replacement ECU.
But not far from it.

i would go with the rtek 2.1 because later on if you want to add more upgrades you can have control over timing.
