Question Baseline map for safc?

I've been searching around the internet and I cannot find any baseline maps for my safc...

mods:

Fuel:
stock primaries
720cc secondaries
venom 255 pump

Power:
BNR stage 4 s5 turbo
streetported s4 TII motor
RB exhaust/ downpipe
cone intake (does that even count as a mod lol?)

ECU:
Rtek 1.7
SAFC2 (obviously...)

This setup is fairly common or at least similar to most lightly modded setups, so if anybody has a map that i could use to start the tuning process until I have a chance to get a wideband/ dyno tune would be VERY helpful.

no 2 set ups have the same fuel requirements, you should never use someone elses settings, you need a wideband 02 or go to the dyno and use theres to tune it

LM-1 for $265 For the more win.

I don't know if the PLX datalogs like the LM-1 does, but for 20$ more I'll trust the LM-1.

I was not going to just plug in somebody else's map and go to the track, but I thought having a starting point would expidite the whole tuning process... anyways I was actually looking at the AEM UEGO wideband. It has a max deviation of only 0.1 for the A/F ratio vs the PLX which has a max deviation of 1.0 and its still under $290

Anybody that has one of these babies like it?

i was trying to do the same thing your doing.(get a baseline map) but no luck here. i tried a couple of times posting up threads and still no basemap. my best luck was going to meets and looking at other ppls safc's. from what i've seen most ppl are ending up gradually taking fuel out as it gets to the higher rpm. i have close to the same setup as you but no porting done. i just start taking fuel out at about 4000 and gradually every thousand rpm or so take out ending up with 10% taking out on hi.thr. havent messed with anything on low-thr. i have low thr 10%and hi @ 50% when the corr takes place.

I wouldn't give my old numbers to anyone to copy (IF I could actually find em that is...) I vaguely remember my fuel being -10% to -15% up to about 5k (because I lost ALOT of intake velocity), and then I had it jump from -15% to an immediate +28% to +35% or so, and then close to 6.5k - 7k, it jumped immediately back down to about +3% to +5%. Like I said, I wouldn't give anyone these numbers to try because I had my vdi and aux. sleeves wired open along with large intake porting on all 6 intake ports, and even larger exhaust porting (the closing timing was MUCH later---). I also ran a RB header and presilencer, etc.

ok, so I got the AEM wideband.

I'm kinda in the middle of putting my car together, the motor is sitting in my garage after being rebuilt awaiting me to put it in the car, and my DP is having another bung welded onto it for the wideband. The idea is that if I can get a hoist by friday that the car will actually be running on saturday.

ANYWAY thanks t2ae, i suppose thats about as close to a baseline tune as I'm going to get. and with the wideband I'll be able to tune pretty accurately.

I'll probably post a video of my car running (or burning to the ground...) soon in the second gen section, so stay tuned guys!
