TX Expert RX7 Mechanic, Houston, Texas

Does anyone from Houston know of a reputable Houston mechanic (tech) who has a solid, successful track record working on the 1993-1995 RX7's?

We had a few experienced locals willing to twist wrenches but several of us have moved on due to bad experiences with unprofessional customers. Try Chuck the Rotary Nut(Rx7_Nut13B) or the other Chuck(cewrx7r1), maybe one of them is interested in doing mod work and unknown if other Chuck is still doing tuning. I saw a thread about some alex dude (Alex Rodriguez) comin to town, look in this section, but unknown if it happened.

I usually get my work done by Rotary Performance up in Garland (Northeastern DFW area) for stuff I can't tackle on my own. Very knowledgable and excellent service.

would like to know someone local as well. I just want an evaluation of my car, so I can know where I stand as far as needed repairs if any.

I'm looking for someone to give me an accurate analysis of condition of the motor, as well as check idle issue.

That is easy as I have a digital compression tester, Datalogit, and NGK/NTK O2 WB.
I will be back in Houston in about a week.

Been in Las Vegas handling my recently deceased uncle's estate.

OK awesome! That will really help! Sorry about you uncle, estate affairs are always a headache. I fixed the idle issue as the green wire on the tps had become disconnected.

You would need RX7Nut Chuck as I only work on FDs.

@cewrx7r1 Are you still working on FD's? I can't DM you due to new restrictions with new accounts.
