Smoke on High revs and EXCESSIVE smoke when you let off!

OK,I just got my Car Dyno'd and you can see it on RX Tuning and Performance Facebook page, where my S5 TII(stock engine) with a T04S made 357 HP.
You can see the problem in the video link where the car will Smoke after Let Off.

In Street Driving on high Revs it will smoke and then Literally Leave the people in cars behind you in a BIG Cloud of smoke..So Bad they have to either stop or slow down(they can't see and I can't see anyone behind me!...NOT safe.)

It has been suggested that I use a restrictor on my Oil feed to the Garrett T04S Journal bearing Turbo.
Also been suggested to run a catch can(which I do from the Oil filler and center iron to the can)..BUT run a line to the turbo inlet where it can suck the oil fumes into the air intake tract.
(My thinking though is that IF the turbo seal is bypassing oil then the oil will just make it smoke, still, if it is being sucked into the internals and get burned by the engine).

Any Turbo GURUS have any Idea of what to do,??
My first thought is to try a restrictor since I have nothing to lose anyways.

I am ready to rebuild the turbo OR buy another T04S as If I go any bigger I need another Tuning, and that was Hard to get.(busy people up here!)

Thanks Gentlemen.STYX.

I dont think your turbo is the main culprit, I believe it may be your oil control ring inserts.

It is also SO quiet you can hear the injectors click..heh,heh..like a typewriter!..again Until you PUNCH IT.(then again you would had to have been on the hood!)

At standstill, free rev it above 6000 for a second or two and let off. Report back afterwards

I would install a exhuast 'scavenger' for lack of better terms...

fitting you weld onto the the exhuast @ 45* angle. It has a one way vavle in to that pulls vaccum whenever exhuast is moving by it, to empty the blow by pressure...

then you shouldn't need a catch tank, and keep your intake track oil free so of your turbo seals are gone it will be easier to tell...

My car after a hard pull smoked so much that other 'car' people thought I blew my engine...

installed valve and line to oil filler neck, no more issues..

if you want a picture of the fitting, pm me and I'll send some

I capped off 1 to many vaccum ports on my oil filler neck on the fd and had the same issue.

So make sure your neck is vented open or to a catch can or turbo inlet. ..

Again. My Oil filler goes to a catch can.
the center iron nipple actually goes to Nothing as I forgot to put a hose back on when I tossed the can back on.
So both areas are ventilated.nicely!

IF you go to the Facebook page you can see clearly what it does when the Run is over.

I've had similar issues in 2 occasions in the years past:

1) blown turbo seal

2) similar turbo, had a -8 oil return line, which wasn't draining oil enough, changed to -12 and problem went away.

Hope that helps

Oil feed is -3 as far as I can tell and the return is like a -10.
Is it a adapter with push on type connector and the hose is like 3/4,that is clamped..pretty big, like the old stuff.

Is this a new build and the smoke has been there from the beginning, or did it just start?

What has changed?

This is a Turbo Oil Seal issue after all.I made a Restrictor to test the theory

I tried a Trick...I dremeled the top of the conical adapter(stay with me now...I'll explain)

The Top of the adapter for the hose looks something like this: /T\ That "T" is a POP RIVET.
I took the nail out of the Pop rivet and dremeled the top flat so that the rivet sits flat on the top of the adapter.I screwed the hose back on and it Traps the rivet in between the hose and the adapter.
This is my restrictor....Patent pending,..I nailed it...hahha!

I took the car for a Ride and NO Puffs......well NOT totally..the smoke is like 75% gone..BUT I do not get the Giant Smokescreen that I had before.

NOTE: it's not a permanent FIX..the real solution is Getting the turbo repaired or replaced.
Which I intend on doing,I am looking into that as I type.

I'm sure that you need to limit the volume and pressure to the turbo. I can't tell you how many new out the box Garrett turbos I sent back or had issues with from day one with oil smoking and sometimes even dripping. I would try other options before you send it in for a rebuild or replacement. How much mileage/use is on the turbo CHRA?

UPDATE:
I took the Turbo off(Finally!) and it does NOT spin freely..It has some resistance to it,so I am gonna take a wild guess and say it needs rebuilding!
MONO..can I borrow your Avatar..and what HP will it make?..lol!(it seems to spin nicely, haha!)

Sorry NO.
The wife won't allow me to post her pictures on the internet!

the "restrictor" got sent in with the Turbo as I wanted to ask the rebuilder about having an adapter or whatever to go with the New Rebuild.

But basically if you take a file to the cone shape off of THIS adapter pictured and Plop a 1/8 pop rivet into/onto the top..that is what I used to find my problem,.The rivet acted like a restrictor. The turbo stopped smoking.Which led me to say that the seals are gone.
