Is internal wastegate worth it?

I've had my current setup, dbb 6766 external and plumbed wastegate, for quite some time. When I initially was going with a 67mm turbo I ordered the BW 9180 but it was on indefinite back order so I switched to my precision which I've been happy with ever since. In my quest to simplify and eliminate any connection points, I've been seriously considering doing the 9180 internal wastegate with Turblown cast manifold. My only concern is boost creep. I've never ran lower boost than 20psi and high boost at 30psi. Will an internal wastegate setup be fine with these boost levels?

How is your engine ported, and how big is your exhaust system?

Generally a semi-pport has the hardest time control boost pressure( I have even seen it boost creep on twin 44s with methanol!)..

The two semi pport 9180s cars I have seen hold 20 psi as their minimum with 3.5" exhaust systems. My FC will hold 17 psi on a large street port with a full 4" exhaust on E85( with a smaller 2.5" catback it held very low boost to redline, it was like 9 psi IIRC).

I have an aggressive streetport, 3.5 inch exhaust, and preturbo 50/50 water/meth injection.

You will be fine since your target boost pressures are not low. I would use the turbosmart dual port actuator with a 20 psi spring of a bw high pressure canister. You will want to use a boost controller too.
