Haltech Zero Throttle Map Setting Question

i have enabled my haltech zero throttle map and am adding about 5.4 ms at 0 rpm gradually falling to about 3.4 ms at 2000 rpm. is the zero throttle setting additive to the main fuel maps? so, when you bck offthe throttle at 2000 rpm, do i have the 3.4 ms injector duty cycle plus the vacuum settings from the main fuel map? does anyone have any recommendations or comments on this?

I believe once the map is enabled it disregards the main map and only uses the zero map. I don't use the zero map, but it could be used to reduce flaming out the exhaust and make the engine more fuel efficient.

Gordon-

Disable this feature. You should have a somewhat stable idle and do not need this. I don't use mine neither.

5.4ms is a lot of fuel. What kind of injectors are you running?

red, i've got stock primaries and 1600cc secondaries. one of the reasons i think this is on and so high might be that when we first set it up, there were problems with the ignition and we had trouble getting a stable idle. now, the ignition is fixed and i might be able to disable it. however, my idle right now is stable at 750 rpm, but it feels "weak". i'll just try it and see. thanks, gordon
