i have never played with the trailing plug timing advance split settings. i'm even sure what it does. could someone explain it to me? also, i have looked at the ignition maps from ari of rotary perfromance and matt's. the slits are the same at 0-2000 rpm, but are very different for the 2000+ rpm maps between these two. assuming that this map does something notable, i would think the wide variance between ari's and matt's maps would/could/should make a difference. they both were clearly set with some idea in mind. what does the timing split do generally and what do the differences between ari's and matt's maps mean?
(updated) could some of you just tell me what your timing split is from 0 psi to 15 psi on the 2000 rpm + map accessed via rotary trailing map and then "N"? that would help a lot. thanks, gordon
thanks, gordon
