Power FC vs Haltec

Alot of you might know that there is a group buy on both of these at a very good and close price. My question is which is better for me. My plan is to get into the 11's with a single. I am pretty good at installing things as long as there are instructions so the Haltec wouldn't be a prob. But, my main concern is how do you adj the maps on it? Do I have to have a laptop?

Yup, you need a laptop but all you need is an old dinosaur like a 486 or something. Most people have P100's or something.

It is very easy to tune once you get used to things and you will learn a LOT about your car in the process.

I use a laptop that I wouldn't pay 10 bucks for! all you gotta do is be able to run MS DOS... 486 is fine- pentium 75+ is better...
