Removing airbag crash sensors

I have an aftermarket steering wheel. Suffice to say, it has no airbag. This makes my crash sensors pretty useless(I assume), correct? Has anyone ever removed these? Any idea how much they weigh? Is this a really stupid idea? Thoughts and opinions please!

Steve

I doubt the sensors weigh more than 5 or 10 onces each.

Sure remove them if you got nothing better to do.

Lol, I just MIGHT not have anything better to do, thank you very much

Steve

P.S. To bad they're not heavy little 5 pound boxes, that would save me some weight
