I am wondering how much a 12a motor rebuild would cost. my motor has 243,000 k on it and is a bit rusty. any help?

 

There is no way of knowing what is useable in your motor until it has been taken apart and checked.

A complete rebuild starts at $2000 + any parts that need replacing (rotor housings, irons, e-shaft, oil pump) Anything cheaper and I'd be questioning the quality of the rebuild.

 

^^ This man is doing my 12a over the winter. I've spent many hours on the phone with him and if you're looking for a rebuild, he's the man to take it to.

I've been quoted about $2200 before porting. Porting is usually a couple hundred bucks extra for a streetport and can go up with bridge's, P-Ports, etc.
