Thumbs up Product Review: Apexi N1 Super Silencer.

I slapped on the Super Silencer on my N1 today and I must say I'm very impressed. my set up is stock 12A with RB headers (2-1) 2.5" to RB PP pre silencer 2.5" to my N1, it was pretty loud, but CHP thought it was way too loud so I got a fix it ticket. Anyways, so I slapped it on today and it lowered my dcb's by about 70% at high RPM's and about 25% at idle. I also noticed a slight increase in torque, nothing huge but when all I was aiming for was something quiet, any type of add on power is great, and I also retained a sweet sound; and for $58 delivered I really can't complain.

Put up a video I would like to hear how it sounds. Normally those silencers just make your car sound like a huge fart can

No, it's a resonator (slips inside your pipe). frorgot to mention, the pipe i put it on is the GT spec N1 for a turbo application (115mm)

Be interesting to see how long it lasts, rotaries being notorious for burning exhaust parts up fast.

Does it fly out the back when you shoot fireballs?

I'm burning too much oil too shot fireballs , but it's bolted down so I doubt it's gonna fly out, also my N1 is made specifically for an FC so I don't think it burn through it anytime soon.

im more worried about performance loss. im running a haltech and i dont want to have to retune the car for adding the silencer. i have the dual n1 so that means i would have to buy 2 silencers right?

yup that is correct, like I said, I didn't feel any loss in power, but a slight increase in torque.

I believe the Apexi ATS (active tail silencer) will do the same job but less loss in power. can someone confirm?
