what micron fuel filter to use?

I'm currently running a aeromotive fuel filter, although i forgot what micron element is in there, the filter is after the pump, i have -8 lines, from filter to fpr to custom fuel rails, i searched and came up with nothing, what exactly is the difference between a 10 40 and 100 micron element? Just curious what you guys would recomend the car runs 15psi and is a 400hp car.

Thanks in advance
David

You want the fine filter (10 micron) after fuel pump. The coarser filters (like 100 micron) typically are before the pump to protect the pump from crap, but not be so fine that causes the pump to cavitate from too much restriction.
