RX8 4 Rotor now running!!
Hi Everyone,
I understand that this is an Rx7 forum, but I thought that you may like to see what we have been up to.
Over the last 12 months we have been in the process of building an RX8 4 Rotor, and we have actually had it running for quite some time, but there were a few little things here and there that we weren't quite happy with.
For the time being I have included a couple of links of us testing at Willow Springs, and also on the dyno, and later on I will post up pictures of the build process.
We certainly look forward to Seven Stock, in which we hope to have the car on display!!!

If I have not linked the videos properly, can someone please let me know whats best - it's a shame that I can wire a car, but not know how to upload videos to a forum
Enjoy!!!!
Regards
Sarah

Just remember a Formula 1 engine only makes about 250 ft lbs of torque! You don't need low end power if you are geared to take advantage of high end power.

Please please post a dyno chart.
Out of all of the various RX-* motors, the 4 rotor is the one with the least readily available dyno information!

Every time I hear a 4 rotor I just want one badly, even though financially it doesnt make much sense over a 13BT, it just sounds off the charts.
Look forward to seeing more vids and dyno charts.
Any spec details?
