Here is an example of our HID installed in a Halogen housing, the car is a 2000 Infiniti I30. The beam pattern is clean and does not scatter like other hid kits, and the projection area of visibility is similar just brighter so you can see better. Thanks~

P.S. beam may vary slighty upon different vehicles such as (YR make model and height, for examples for trucks or SUVs, the cutoff may be higher)

As stated before I have a H4 8000K Low conversion kit installed now and it worked great. If this kit is anything like it or better hopefully, then that's awesome. I will post up the results once installed, thanks!

I have a question for the H4 conversion.
The H4 housings don't have the front reflector to keep the light projection down.
Without it, the lights don't have the nice cutoff on top so light scatters everywhere.
Do you sell the reflector for the HID bulbs?

Hi,

We don't sell reflectors, but as you can from the reply up a few levels, our hid cutoff on a regular halogen housing will be similar to your original halogen bulbs, if your car's housing had a cutoff ,then our bulbs will just do the same. I have posted the picture for you here again. This car used a 9006 bulb and he was worried that it will scatter but it did not.

Thanks~

All orders placed before 3pm PST yesterday have been shipped and you should have already received a tracking #, if you didn't, please call 860-821-8212, your order might be delayed due to

(1.) needing confirmation because you input different billing and shipping information
(2.) your order did not go through

Thank you!

I have the same issue with my current H4 setup. The Hella H4 housings have no cut off so the light scatters everywhere and can be very annoying for other drivers on the road.

Trying to find out which company makes a H4 housing that has some kind of reflector so light doesn't scatter everywhere. The HELLA H4 housings I currently have don't have that.

I have a completely stock lighting system, so I just want to be sure your kit will work without needing anything extra. Also, please specify which items (and how many) I need to select on your website for this purchase.

1) I have a 93 Mazda Rx7
2) Pure White (6000K)
3) Complete conversion kit for both Low beams and High beams
4) What else do I need in order to convert Hi-beams to HID? Just bulbs or another complete conversion kit?

Thanks,
Sebastian

2.) What color would you like? (picture at 1st page of this thread)
5000K - White with light yellow tint (Closest to OEM)
6000K - Pure White
8000K - White with light blue tint
3.) Are you looking for bulbs only? or the Conversion Kit?
4.) Other questions?

Thanks!

Hi,

your bulb type is below

1993 MAZDA RX-7

High & low beam headlamp
9003=H4

You have two choices for the H4/9003 (H4=9003) (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.

Here is the link to your H4/9003 hi/lo 6000K ($60 after coupon code: fspecial-m)
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

Here is the link to your H4/9003 bi-xenon 6000K ($90 after coupon code:fspecial-m)
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversion+Kits/Automobile+HID+Kits/H4+Bi-Xenon+HID+Kit/H4+Bi-Xenon+6000K/H4+Bi-Xenon-6000K+Automobile+Xenon+HID+Conversion+Kit.html

You will not need anything extra the kit comes with everything you need (2 bulbs, 2 ballast, 2 wire harness(or relay + wire harness for bi-xenon) and 2 adhesive pads and some zip ties.

let meknow if you need anything else.
Thanks~

It is possible some of these will work:

http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...S&Category=190

They sell numerous projector style headlights that are a direct retro for the FD. I don't see, however, a cutoff (line) on the projector lenses so I don't know if they will give you cutoff or not. For $40, it might be worth a try though. You can use them with the HIDs sold on this thread.

They don't seem to have round headlight housings for 1st gen RX-7's only FD's are listed on there.
