Hey I'm from Trinidad. What issues did you encounter with the conversion?
Did you have the radiator upfront?
What about the adaptor for the transaxle? Did you make a custom adaptor or get one from Kennedy?

Do you have any pics?

I'm considering this conversion presently.

Hi, nice to meet you.

Yes i have the radiator up front.

PM your mail and i'll send you some pictures.

A guy nicked "zenjoe" made a blogspot about his conversion a fiew years ago, this guy was my guide for my project and in the blog he gives you almost any tip he can to make your proyect easier.

Heres the link:

http://www.geocities.com/zenjoe/vw.html

I have done it before and i'll do it again, you don't imagine how much fun you can get from this conversion, only testing it you'll feel what i can't explain.

This is a killer combo beetle and a rotary!

What ever you need from, Pm me and i'll try my best to suport you. Give me your mail address so i can send you the pictures.

DomRep huh? cant say I've ever been there. Closest I've been would be the Florida Keys or Jamaica. Nice conversion.

Did you have any problems to note with the trans ? I'm currently trying to match up an FD auto trans to a 500whp 13b ...

Japan huh? That is a long way from home.

What sent you over there?

Anyway, check to see if your Air Separator tank is not leaking. Normally it splits at the seam and loses coolant and overheats the car.

Alot of people change this early in the maintainance process.

There is an aluminum option to prevent this from happening again, or you can just get a OEM replacement one.

I will be working on mine maybe next month to get it road worthy again
