Haha no IOU, instead they're just going to tax everything just enough to where we end up paying more throughout the year than our IOU would be...

I got audited for thsi year for 07s tax return. I now owe $900. In 07 my tax return was $950, and I worked a whole year at toyota paying $150 in tax every two week's paycheck. When I did my tax return, its was solely based off my work at toyota. Now the IRS is saying Iwas only suppose to get $100 bucks not 950, so beging of 09 I owed $850 and now it bumped up to $900. Im astudent, no job..wtf is wrong with the gov these days.. they want their money. Im only 19!!! crazy.

yea because if your filing a W2. that means your taxes were being taken out of your paycheck unless you filed as exempt where they give you your full check and didn't take any taxes out.

If you're a student look into the Hope Lifetime Tax credit. I get every cent I pay into federal back every year cause I go to a grossly overpriced school. I'd rather have the mafia after my *** than the IRS!

State sales tax is going up 1% on April 1st. LA gets hit with an additional city-wide raise in sales tax, too.

The O's new budget spends about $12,000 per year for every person in the US.
