hey everyone

Just saying whats up! i'm hoping to get lots of info on rotary motors from this site, the FAQ's are amazing, ive browsed few a through. Well about my ride, i dont exactly have an rx7 but i have a rotary powered car. Its a 1983 Toyota starlet with (i believe) an s4 13b. The car isnt completed yet but i'm hoping to have it on the road for next spring (because winter just blows).

Rx3 eh? thats wicked... well here are some pics of my rotary starlet w/ widebody. It won't be green for long, flat black with a lot of airbrushing and a custom interior... not a show car really, just for fun and the occasional track days. Plans for the motor include a mild port, ITB (if i can manage that) and most likely a megasquirt.

you are right on it being a S4 13b
I don't if i'd bother with the ITB, but the Megasquirt is a damn good idea
there is a whole section dedicated to it here

Is there not a lot of power to be gained from ITB or is it just response? how hard would it be to swap to a s5 intake? i've heard that there are about 10-15hp to free up from going that route.

Your car is super clean. I've never seen one before, but I'm sure most don't look this good. You should post some pictures once you get the new paint.

Thanks, the pics make it look better, it needs a lot of work inside and out. I definately plan on starting a build thread once my post count is high enough (didnt noticed a spot for it on the forums but i havent really looked). My build threads are usually short though haha, i always take lots of pics but finish my projects really quickly. So far today i've stripped all the interior and drained all the fluids and disconnected the driveshaft, and its just the first day ive been working on it, good start to the project i think.
