yes e85 is the ****. 548rwhp@21psi

Tonight we dynoed the car again!

at 21psi and 77% duty cycle (6x1680cc) it produced 548rwhp and 390rwtorque (ftlbs) or 528,8nm

Thanks to ML wankeltrim and Lasse wankel for letting me dyno the car at the rototest (hub dyno).

That is pretty impressive. Do you have an Xcessive LIM? If not where did you add your two additional injectors?

Does anyone know how much more power his T78 has left in it?

I wonder what those numbers would look like with a GT42R style turbo?

No knock according to the pfc at L15 deg, split is 10 deg, tested 12 deg but lost power. Exhaust temp is at 900 C at 7500 rpm. Maybe the engine would have liked more ignition but we stopped there. The engine accelerates real hard 4000-7000 rpm then it starts slowing off. Max power at 7350 rpm and torque at 7100rpm. Think the T-78 is really maxed out! A Garrett GT42 would be interesting to test this winter wouldnt it Gus?

Thanks for the quick reply....

I actually meant fitting the large belly injectors in the primary fuel rail(the one with only two injectors)... The housing on the RX-8 has two holes for the primary injectors but the big ones don't fit(the stock ones are thin and long. How do you fit yours?

Thanks

Chris

A bit colder than the other runs, used to be around 40dgr. it was only 15dgr and rain outside. the temp is slow to update so logs show 35dgr through whole map.

I've got a renesis at the shop I can take a look at and see if the bosch ev1 style injector can be made to fit. We have a 1000cc injector that is thinner and will fit. It is also much more better suited for a primary injector..

Oh and great numbers!

Oh and great numbers!
How much for a set of the 1000cc primary injectors that you are talking about?

I need a pair. The Square plug 1000cc fat ones don't fit in the renesis, I tried....I was asking to see if people modified the center plate or the injectors to fit....assuming they had to.

Thanks

Chris
