S5 trim and bumpers worth?

hey guys i have a full S5 trim and bumpers on my 90 but im thinking of going and selling it andswaping with the S4 stuff from my 87 and a 626 lip for cheap till i can get a FC2000 front. what do you think a full conversion worth of trim and bumpers should go for?

You talk about all this money that you don't have and then post up crap like wanting an FC2000 front end, and an RE swap?

I think you need to get your priorities right before you think about getting into body modifications as intricate as the FC2000. Even the re-makes of that kit are very pricey.

i know its expenisve thats why i say TILL as in i wont get it in the near future but hope that eventually i can. anyways i need to get her back on the road cause shes my DD and it seems i have to replace my alt and my fuel pump. so if i can make some money by selling my S5 crap then good. that money to keep her on the oad till i can get another job and hopefully make some good money.

So basically, use the money from the s5 swap to get your car on the road.

yea thats what im saying. jamin says they go for about $200-$300 in good conditions i figure $150 would be a good price seeing as the rear bumper has burn damage.

A good condition S5 conversion is worth $200-300, but yours has a burnt/melted bumper and the front grill is cut out.. so $150 for everything may be a stretch. more like $100 max

i think S4 trim looks better anyway.. just convert back to S4, add a 626 lip and you are set. just make sure you dont break the side trim when you take it off

I think that $250 for an S5 Front if it is mint. $100 for a mint rear, and $100 for a full s5 body moulding set.

I have bought a full set before for less then $100.. but that was at a pull-a part yard.. Plus the front bumper had a flat spot where it looked like someone ran under a shopping cart..

I'd say $100-150 per bumper, $75-100 for the side moldings, and $1-200 for the tail lights. So your looking at between $400 or so for the average get up. A little more or less depending on condition/ missing pieces.

S13 lips look like ****... they suck on fitment all the way around. 626 lips look great and are short about .5" - 1" on both sides. Looks factory imo.

If you're serious about selling the bumpers and skirts, PM me I just bought a 91 convertible that was smashed up a couple winters ago. If I decide to go with an OE body, I'm gonna need to get bumpers and such from somewhere.
