Shannonville July 1

Hey guys we are going to Shannonville July 1. The track is open all day 9am -5pm and they will run a combination of Long and Pro track. Since we tried to race today but ended up getting rained on, fogged up and almost crashed out, I stopped 15 minutes in. I think my crew thought I was a big p___y, but when they saw the in car camera they understood! (lol) We are going with the Imagemotorsports guys.

It was a good day for us for a change. We went faster than our class allows so we will move from GTB to GTA at Shannonville. With somemore adjusting and tuning I think we can get to the high 1.13's on pro track. You and the grey M3 were the fastest street cars there. We got you both in low 1.20's and 1.19's. That is real fast for a street driven car.

Ah, I thought I was 1:16 since the person timing you said you did 1:15 and I thought I was a second or two slower then you. Guess it was a little more but it was still fun trying to chase you down lol . Not bad though considering that was my first time at the pro track, first time on R compounds at shannonville, and 2nd time at shannonville. Hope we can go again and maybe I can keep up

Like I said 1.19's at pro track is flying for a street car! The 1st RX7 race car I drove there 4 years ago couldnt break 1.20's. I was timing you with my crew chief when you went back out after and you ran between 1.19 and 1.21's. Just to give you an idea the 2 civis with cages etc didnt run below a 1.24! The real big differences are corner exit and braking, dont forget we are only stopping 2250lbs worth of car (lol). We will need another test day in about 2-3 weeks once we get the trans fixed, carb better tuned and the camber changed, let me know if your interested.
