I'll have another one soon--in the mean time--putting a turbo ka24e in my d21-teehehe
afm removal is what im waiting for. Other than that, the 2.1 is working out really well. I recently swapped my 1000cc secondaries for 1600's, and was able to lean them out without much hassle. After tweaking the timing tables, i get 24mpg hwy now. cant complain

thats so awesome i thinking about runnin the 2.1 with a bnr 4 with 720 pri's 1600 sec's
with i new rebuilt sp s4 what do you think of poweer gains or range i can look for, also this will be my first ecu upgrade is it fairly easy to learn the rtek system
I would say its the easiest to learn of all the aftermarket ecu options, especially since its based on the stock map. You dont have to create one from scratch. however, that can be a disadvantage to experienced tuners, because you are stuck with tuning from the stock map, not a fresh start. But it is a good setup to learn on.
ive found tuning 1600s is a little tricky with the new load based staging, since the secondaries dont turn on at a set PSI. In low gears, it seems to happen at around 5psi.. i still have to do some testing in 4th and 5th to see if it will stage at lower boost. it also helps to use the 550/720 preset
