Getting dyno tunned on May 17 (can't wait)

Well I got my 2.1 a while back and got everything back in the car. Junked the T3 Palm and picked up a E2 for a real good price (much nicer than the T3 anyway). I haven't even messed around with or changed anything as far as setting go, and my car is so much happier than before. It's amazing the difference it makes when the car knows that it has 720 primaries in it.
Anyway I'll be taking my car down to Denver on the 17th to have it dyno tunned by Steve Kan. I'll post up my numbers after he's done working his magic.

Well the tune is awesome. Steve Kan is the man. He is a really cool guy to hang out with and chat. After a short time on the dyno, he finished my tune at 15.8 pounds of boost putting down 350 RWHP and 366 ft. lbs.. The car is amazing to drive. So thanks again to Steve Kan for the amazing tune.

The real question is how did he like the Rtek?

Nice numbers! How long did it take him to change the maps? I know it took me some time remap the whole thing.

Do you happen to have the dyno sheet? What was the duty cycles looking like for you?

How far leading advanced and at what split? You torque numbers are out of control!

more torque than HP?? im guessing the 15psi didnt hold till redline? thats awesome, im also curious as to what steve thought of the rtek and tuning the timing tables heheh.

I met him about a year ago, really cool guy.. i asked him if he had tuned an rtek yet, and he said he had looked at one but never tuned with one

want to know what duty cycles you are seeing also.. i was running 750cc and 1000cc injectors and was hitting 90% at 15psi

I think the Rtek is very nice. it's very easy to use and has good navigation. The only real complaint I have is the amount of time I spent remapping everything (modifying each cell individually).

The car was actually running at least 18-19psi in mid range and tapper off to 12psi at higher rpm. (turbo limited).

The HP curve is pretty much flat from 4.5krpm to 7krpm.

my question is how much power will the stock afm allow?? but awesome numbers!!

steve you should sell that tune via zip files... easy money. since we all have very similar setups but different turbos.

Maybe Mike from RTek can correct me if I'm wrong on this, You can set the RTek to run either map based or MAF based (timing only?). The factory map sensor maxed out at 15.8psi. If it was setup for map based, I assumed that the MAF is useless with the exception of monitoring the air temp. So technically if you have enough fuel, you can run as much power your car can produce upto 15.8psi. However, I assume that RTEK will eventually allow different map sensor as an option so that you can turn the boost up a little more.

I don't sell maps, Every car is different. It's too dangerous and unfair for me to sell something that may not work. Besides, his car was tuned at a high altitude so everything will be off for guys that are closer to sea level.

I believe fuel is load vs RPM, and timing is MAP or MAF. So if timing is set for MAP, the MAF would still be needed for fuel.

Here is the dyno sheet from the last pull. Numbers are a little lower than said, but my peak on previous pulls was higher numbers. Sorry it's kinda hard to see. I don't have a scanner so it's a digital picture of it. As far as what Steve set everything at, I haven't looked yet, I'm still just enjoying the drive. Next time I take my car out for a drive i'll log duty cycles and let you know where mine are at. Like Steve said my boost didn't hold untill redline (it would drop at about 5000-5500 rpm). Looks like it's time for a bigger turbo(well maybe).

So, I guess if you upgrade to a 60-1, that means I get a T4. HAHAHA! And no, we cannot postpone the wedding to save up for bigger turbos.......

Fuel is boost vs rpm.
Timing is load vs RPM (stock), or Boost vs RPM (boost based timine mode)

The fuel correction table is boost vs rpm. The base fuel calculation is still AFM based.

Timing is load vs RPM (stock), or Boost vs RPM (boost based timine mode)
