false boost readings from my 2.0

when a make a full throttle run my rtek says i get up to 15.8 psi at 3000 rpms. and maxs out at that and stops when i let off. which i know is not true. it seems to read correctly under light throttle and low boost. is the problem my map sensor?

the rtek did detect an error code with the map sensor but i regrounded it and the code disappeared. im assuming when a map sensor goes it defaults to its highest boost reading so the engine doesnt get destroyed which i believe is the case.

i did the voltage check on it and it was a little off. just wondering if anyone had a similar issue.

The failsafe reading for the boost sensor is 15.8 so if your seeing that you probably do have a problem related to your boost sensor.
