Lightbulb Are my radiator temp to high?

I just finish putting my T78 and Greddy 3 row and Koyo radiator in yesterday. I took it out for a spin to make sure everything is ok. I would see my radiator temp go up to 105 degree Celcius. At cruising it is usually between 93-96 degree. Are these numbers high?

where you on boost for a extended period of time... ? was that the temp after some heat soaking ?

crusing around I am 85-88...SMIC, stock twins...

93-96 is slightly high in my book...I guess there could be something to what ppl say about FMIC blocking the radiator..

Took the car out again today. Temp in the low 60's. Radiator temp was saying 93-95c . I believe yesterday I had alot of heat soak from sitting so the temps went up to 103-105c. Oil temps goes up to about 100-110c. And it has gone up to 120c. Is this o.k?

I think 120c for oil temp is about as high as yould want to go also....

when the lasttime you flushed the rad and changed the t-stat....where were you before the FMIC install ?

With the front mount you are going to run hotter the only way to keep the temp down is to run the fans all the time .
Good luck

Wire a switch into the fans to keep them on at all times. I keep them on and my temps are never over 180F.

The oil has reached 120c before when i was on stock sequential. I just put in the the front mount and the radiator the other day. This was all done when i did a T78. I don't know what my radiator temps was before because i didn't have the power fc commander to monitor the readings. It seems alot of people that have gone with the greddy 3 row front mount have been getting high coolant readings. I hope it doesn't get too high. I think i will try flushing out the radiator and just putting only distilled water in. I live in ohio but i don't drive the car during the winter. I'll post again later on the results.

Use Water Wetter while your at it. It will help a little, but still not a fix.
I got the exact same setup and the same problem.
I just use the fans alot. I keep my temps anywhere from 180-210F. We need to get more air flow through the radiator. I have some ideas but no way of making it. Or atleast making look clean. BTW did you install the A/C condensor? I left mine off cause I was afraid of this problem.

I sent you a PM

...Me too. My Power FC seems to read a little hotter than my Defi water temp.

I have the datalogit equipment and I turned my fans down WAY low. I also removed the AC condenser so I believe that helped. Also pulled the thermostat(never gets below 65 degrees fahrenheit here in Okinawa).

I normally run in the mid 80's to low 90's. When I rail on it a lot, the water temp will climb to about 100 degrees Celsius.

Before I had the datalogit, and a stock mount IC, my water temps would run on the average high 90's to mid 100's railing on it. I still had the AC condenser up front though.
