What is he saying??

 

I know enough spanglish to get by on the streets of NY but not enough to transalate... Texas got so much dam mexicans and you still dont know a little spanish

 

All i caught was something about NRS carbones and maybe something about a 2 piece eccentric shaft.

 

He its saying that he ran the 6.97ET only using around 980HP(at the wheels) with a 88 MM custom builded turbo by Mike Turbo in Florida,He thanks John Blanch from microtec for the suport,NRS Seals,Extreme rotary from australia(he is running this people ecentric shaft(ball bearings)and stud kit,and that his goal its the 200 mile mark.They are working on the 2 FAST MOTORSPORT MX6 ,the goal with this car its get it ready for this year NHRA series and they are looking to run low 7 on this car.He also talked about all the services and mods that they do at the shop(3 rotor swap,machine shop,tunning)and that soon he is gonna start selling the Extreme Rotary goodies down in PR

First thing he told Rafael, the owner of pistonvsrotor.com was: "Hi Rafy, your talking to el ROTOR MAYOR.. translation... numero 1 in the world. Funny to hear that, when I associate the words el ROTOR MAYOR with one of the puerto rican legends. Rafael "Falito Racing" Rivera.. he was the champ for many years, but he fell off a little. now the tittle has shifted.. congrats to eddie colon and his team..

 

If he said his car Hp is 980Whp,it means that it only weighs 1700lbs with driver for him to run 6.97@195mph.?

 

I thought I remember "people" saying that 980 was an old Dyno # and he's got ponies now.

The pass was at 197mph, based on Brent Raus ETs and MPH; I would think Sportys car is some what heavier than 1700lbs (or NHRA legal)

A little birdie told me after tommorow's test-n-tune that 'Falito's car is going to lay down some impressive times if everything goes well.

Well Oso is doing the tuning this season so its very possible that we'll see the car perform better from now on. Falito is a old skool guy and EFI may be a new experience for him ,so I guess thats the reason Oso came on board to help him sort it out. Wish them lots of luck

 

He was also saying in his interview that they did some suspension work to help lower his et's plus Oso is driving so that should help. Both him and Pica's RX-8 are running tonight at Salinas. Can't wait to see how they run.
