13B VW Beetle.........

I do not know if anyone has seen this, but they claim this runs 12's in the quarter mile.

Seems like a killer idea. I just wonder how he gets enough air flow even with the fan?

There's a guy on our forum by the name of RXBeetle that is currently building one. Check the rotary performance section.

They mount the rad in the front where the spare tires was, and support it from there. Some cutting/welding involved.

OMG!!! I can't believe he did that to that poor car... it's an abomantion. You take the soul out of it if it doesn't have that unique air cooled flat 4 in it. And fuck, with the radiator added that throws the perfect 30/70 balance off... the germans in all of their engineering know how made the beetle right when it left the factory. Why would any do that shit?

I imagine that he got tired of a 40 hp motor, having to take the bottom of his motor off to change the oil, no heat in the winter and having a top speed of about 75 mph.
