Question about Jesus Padilla's RX7.

Anyone know what size tire he's running now ?

Size does not matter!

That's the 3-rotor rx-7 and it's 1/2 back so tire choice is pretty opened.

For real ? I saw that picture and just thought he just went with a bigger tire on his all-motor car.

he has 2 1st gen's both are all-motor,....the old one is the 1/2 chassis 20bPP and the other is a "stock chassis" with 9", clutchless trans & 13bPP..
that car in the pic above was banned my NHRA a few years ago, because it was alot faster than any piston of it's time funny thing is that he built a new car to the new rules and still kicked *** with less motor in a class sponsered by honda with 90% of the class being hondas, hehe...
the 3rotor is still being raced by Jesus's young son at local events, and his shop is always a "must visit" everytime im in the area..
He's a very hard working down to earth guy, to bad the NHRA got so **** with the weight issues on rotarys :-(

yeah i heard this yr since the hondas dont have reverse they r penalizing them 75-100pds
