manifold leak... power loss..?

well since the install of my 35r kit i have had an exhaust leak up front. i had found a leak at the v-band where the wg exit was, no big deal i thought. well today i sealed that up and found my rear rotor has a pretty good manifold leak. my question is would that effect hp at all? also when i dynoed my car i was having trouble raising the boost above 14psi. on my previous 35r kit i raised the boost to 16+ psi without any problems. could the manifold leak effect power and boost?

Yes, it'll effect boost, which effects power. Get the leak fixed and your boost problems will go away.

Any leak before the turbine will have a effect on both power and response.

my responce seemed to be ok, my main issue was not being able to raise boost correctly. im going to repair the leak and all should be good.
