Power FC Black commander screen but lit buttons?
Black commander screen but lit buttons?
Anyone have this problem? I tried two different commanders so it cant be those.
I really hope the ECU isn't shot. The screen was up working earlier this week, I haven't really done anything to change it, now it is blank.
I just got a datalogit and when I plug that up it says can not interface. or something along those lines.

OK, not to confuse you guys futher... but...
I took the ECU to a friends house who is running his own PFC. We started his car with his ECU to make sure everything was working. Swapped the ECU, the unit & commander power on like normal. Try to crank, car would crank but not start. The fuel pumps were not running. Jumped the fuel pumps, car starts and runs.
So... I take this back to my car. Who knows about the fuel pump thing but I will just jump mine for now.... Once the ECU was in, turned the key to the ON position, same problem as described in my first post. I thought I would try to start it anyway, it just cranked, wouldnt turn over. I get a test light out and start checking wires....
When I was just about to give up, I thought I would check the voltage on my TPS pins. I JUST TOOK THE TPS CONNECTOR OFF, turned the key to the ON position and the commander turned on like normal.... I plugged the TPS back in, turned the key to the ON position, the commander is still working like normal. So I go to crank the car, It starts up & runs.

It has to be. But even when the PFC was blacked out, the ecu got constant and switched with the ignition 12v. I have changed my TPS, Igntion, IAC, IAT, and Injector wiring off the top of my head, maybe more. I dont think those would have anything to do with the PFC interfacing with the commander properly.
