It should. I have VISTA on my main PC and the sofware works there for map editing. But my DL laptop has XP. Main difference between XP and VISTA seems to be with the drivers.

The only problem I had was my serial port didn't create the connection to the Datalogit. Are you using the USB adapter or just the serial into the PC?

Let us know if it works on yours to the serial port.

my situation is i have Vista and XP as well on my laptop i use a USB-serial converter.

Vista can't log more than 1 minute of data. it will cause a big blue screen saying that USBport.sys crashed. XP can log for around 10 to 15 minutes before it gives the same situation.

as for running the software and editing the maps etc... both OS rocks... no issues.
i'm suspecting if it's my USB-serial converter. will try it some day... duno when :P

Hey, I need a driver for my new laptop that has VISTA! Someone point me in the right direction as I've searched everywhere. Chuck, I've looked through your posts and can't find where where you uploaded it on here. Please either email it to me at mono4lamar@hotmail.com or give me the web address to get it from. Thanks guys!
