Will R-TEK 2.0 work efficiently with my mods?

I have s4 big street port turbo. full racing beat exhaust, bnr stage 4 turbo and other miscellaneous mods. Just wondering before i start the wiring which EMS to get. ive been thinking about haltech or microtech, but for the price, if rtek will do the job, why not!? thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Jose

It should handle it, as long as you dont plan on running any more than 14.7 psi (limit of the stock boost sensor). how big are your injectors?

I would suggest looking at all your options. First question is do any of you who responded have large turbos and streetports and run the rtek if not how do you know if it will work on this type of setup?

I have the same turbo and a streetport and I am running into limitations. Not to say that it doesn't work for lots and lots of people because it does. However for more modified engines there are limits to what the rtek can do.

Read my post on why my motor blew along with some of my other threads and you will find out much more helpful info than asking someone if it will work for you. No one can know yet, the product is in it's infancy.

550 and 1600's are too much fuel for rtek as it is now i believe.. the current release can only cut fuel by 40% from the stock map. that injector setup is more than twice stock injector size..you would need to cut more than 50% fuel

i plan on going with 720 and 1000's after upgrading to BNR stage 3

That is what I have (720 1000). It's plenty of fuel for a BNR.

Nice! I still think I may go with the 550cc and 1600cc just because I do plan on on upgrading in the future. Thanks everyone so far for the replies. Im still stuck on whether to get haltech or microtech. All the information is good on both, its too hard! haha I need some type of deciding factor and money is not the issue.
