I'm curious as to what kind of numbers you T04S guys are getting? something's definitely wrong with the tune or the car.

280whp @ 11psi (mustang dyno)
shitty ca w/ 10% ethanol 91 octane gas
3pm heat of the day in california summer (might have something to do with it)
the car kept spiking at 11psi, maybe something is wrong with the boost controller?
front mount/3" tbe/1300cc primarys, 850cc secondarys/all the supporting mods.
blitz sbc-II
i also have a slight leak in the downpipe but that shouldnt matter that much.

it really shouldnt be this low, but my tuner said that it was pretty good for a stock motor.

i really hunger for more power, should i try running C16? or will i just have to get a ported motor?

You don't need c16. Try running 14 psi and see what your results are, on a dynojet I'm sure you'll make better numbers.

Agreed, 11psi is low...also mustang dynos read lower than dynojets. Also you got your injectors messsed up, the 1300's are the secondaries Did chuck tune your car? I remember him telling me he tuned someones and got 280whp..

It's a mustang dyno. He made over 300 if you take into account conversion from mustang to dynojet.

Thats not realy to shabby. If you where to throw it onto a dynojet, it would be around 308ish rwhp....if you had cooler temps, you could put even better numbers down. I'd have it tuned for 14-15psi, and see what it puts down. CJ

Not to mention, the turbo your using is very small. Its not going to make alot of power.

An S is considerably smaller than an R

Anyhow thats the real beauty about a turbocharged car, keep everything else in check and just keep raising the boost to gain more power..

T04S = TS04?
If so, the numbers sound about right.
280 on an MD is easily over 300 on a DynoJet.
The TS04 makes right about 400 at 15 to 18psi - pump gas max.
So slightly over 300 (DJ #'s) at 11psi is about right.
Also, the turbo's efficiency isn't in the lower psi range, so 11psi isn't in it's real efficient range.
I agree, get it running at 14psi and see what it does...

The TS04 is similar in size to a T04E "60" or 60-1, so I wouldn't call it "small".

How is your intake and exhaust system? Is it on stock ECU or aftermarket ECU? What is your AFR at 11psi?

That is kinda low, considering I made 316whp on 12psi on a KnightSport Hybrid on a DynoJet and its an s4 13BT.

Do you have pics of the dyno graph?
