RX-7 Parts Stollen!! Keep A Look Out.

I am in the proccess of doing a TurboII conversion, and have all my parts laying out in boxes in my garage. Last night some broke in and took the following parts.

S5 TII air by pass control valve
S5 Crank angle sensor
S5 TII starter
S5 TII oil metering pump
Greddy Type S BOV w/pipe kit
S5 blitz cold air intake setup

Keep an eye out if you see anyone selling these parts or you know of some who has just aquired these parts. This is just another hold up for my completeing my project.

****, last night some ****** was walking around my cars around 11 pm. saw him and came back out with my 9mm and told him to get lost. he said he was going to call the cops cause I had a gun and I told him to go ahead and do it. considerig he was up my 275 ft driveway, that would be trespassing.

Jim and Dave, sorry to hear about your parts. #1 reason i sold my car because where i move into i didnt have a choice but to park the FC out in the street. One time there was this cholos checkin' out the car and started asking me what stuff i have in it. I told them its stock =) even though i have about 8K of stuff invested in it. The next day i posted it forsale here in the forum... Cant trust this *****...

Yep... People keep asking why I moved out of San Diego 8 years ago. Too many people... too much crime.

Now in NorCal, there have been weeks that I have left my truck unlocked sitting on the street, or the BWM unlocked in the driveway and nothing happens.

I hate when I drive my FC to visits friends in North Hollywood and have to park on the streets. I stick a couple signs on my windows that say Please don't tow, car won't start, will move soon. and then unhook my battery. Pretty lame security system but not to bad considering I don't have a sterio in the console.

that's hella funny.

I unhook my battery too, in similar situations, never occurd to me to do anything else to make it 'look' not worth stealing.

I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up buying your own parts back from some bastard on ebay. I'd check local pawn shops and keep your eye on the internet for your parts. Catch those stupid Meth heads red-handed. For the past couple of years cops have been being paid to track down stollen type car goods sold on ebay. It really took off when everybody began jacking cars like the Maxima for their HID lights.
