Smog help

anyone in or near Modesto that wants to help me with smog? I am clueless T-T People are telling me to use alcohol but whats the use of having all the emissions equipment!! lol Don't feel like taking that route, just want to get my system running. Failed test with a GP HC and CO too high.

HC was at 1217/868 and CO was at 8.08/9.97. Would those cuase the numbers to be around this area? or do I have a bad cat? Also where are the o2 and map sensor? I'll probably find them but if you coud point me in the direction it would help.

8% CO???
you got an injector stuck open or something? lol

if it's been running for any length of time, you probably ate the cat, so that'll need to be replaced. i've got the CO as low as .75% (that might actually be good enough to pass by itself) with no cat on my old fc, so if you're 10X that with a cat, you've got some big problems with the emissions systems.

how does the car actually run?

are you sure you are running on 2 rotors? seriously.. do a compression check to be sure the engine itself is ok first.

hc's are too low for it to only be running on one rotor, but a chipped corner on an apex seal would explain the lack of vacuum (hence richness), and the elevated hc's.
