injector question

Is it possible to run 1600cc secondaries? If not, what is the largest secondary injector you can run? I know 720cc is what it is set up for but what size can you run by manually turning down the fuel?

What Rtek version are you reffering to? The FAQ addresses your question.

I am referring to the rtek 2.0 The FAQ just says that it can run injectors larger than 720cc you just have to manually turn it down. I understand that tuning will be required etc. I am very interested to know because I am about to start on the fuel system in my car and am very close to getting rtek but main question is injector size compatibility. I don't mind 720cc primary but would really prefer 1600cc secondaries.

From the FAQ:

Injectors larger that 720cc are commonly used and can be used with any Rtek7 upgrade. For Stage 2.0. you can use the 720cc preset to partially compensate for the larger injectors and then you will need to use the Fuel Correction Map to compensate the rest of the way. With Stage 1.x chips, you will need to have a fuel controller like an AFC to enable you to lean out the larger injectors.

Has anybody successfully run a car with 1600cc secondary injectors with only the rtek 2.0? No safc or any other piggyback, just the rtek 2.0 ecu. Does the rtek allow enough adjustability since 1600cc's = over twice the 720cc preset? Fuel pump/lines/etc. are more than adequate and fpr will be aeromotive boost sensing.

If you don't actually need all that fuel, you'll probably be rich. At full lean on the rtek fuel correction table, you'll be ~10%-15% above *stock* fueling. So it would be the same as running 600cc-630cc injectors on the stock ECU with no AFC.
