Cruising at 3500 rpms

I know rtek 1.7 wasn't concieved with the idea of just cruising right along the secondary switch on point for extended periods of time, but driving "legal" freeway speeds with no cruise control my speed/rpm's flucuate from 3300 to 3700 rpms cruisin.

I want to see if it's just me, but when my 720's cut on slowly accelerating I notice a small stutter or stumble from the engine.

Is it normal to experience that with this set up or do I have a problem?

you can try adding some grounds. Add a ground to your Ecu and boost sensor. You can also add an extra main ground. It helped my car out alot. It was having hesitation as well at the switch over point.

The Rtek1.7 won't affect the secondary transition other than lowering
the rpm at which it occurs. The small stumble will be the same as the
"3800rpm hesitation" found on many stock TIIs.

Secondaries shouldn't even be coming online except under load. If they're coming on line while your slowly accelerating...............youi car is broken. Most likely the boost sensor is not outputing to the ECU.

Look at the boost sensor output voltage at pin 2B on the ECU, and see if it matches the FSM at idle. Then see if it rises while under throttle. Is this a engine swap using a tubo emissions harness in a non turbo car???

Sorry, it seems to be a little known fact that the Emissions harness is the one that feeds the ECU, injectors, tps, afm , water thermo sensor, intake air temp, boost sensor, wiper motor, variable resistor (S4) etc.

The engine harness has nothing to do with injectors, afm, tps/you name it.
