rtek 1.7 installed

I just got my ecu back today and my cars running great!

The power gain over the old 550 secondaries is noticable, but not quite as significant as I thought it'd be.

All in all, I like the smooth power and acceleration. The power is definitly there!

I was VERY happy with the 1.5 when I was running it.

You won't notice a big difference until you turn the boost up a little. Are you still running stock boost? Get a hold of a wideband and see if you can turn the boost up a little.

I was running 10psi on a BNR hybrid with the V1.5, Greddy FMIC and 720's and made 294 horsepower.

So how are the 720's working out for ya?

very smooth, other than the fact that when checking for any leaks on initial start up a literal geyser of fuel came shooting out of the fuel rail at a 45 degree angle.. Was pretty smelly lol!

But I tightened down the fuel hose and tried again. No leaks.

I can see my death in the near future.. When I was seriously getting on the car today I dropped into second gear and floored it. The car's back end sat down and launched. I got a little side sliding action from the back wheels loosing traction. Was fun

There shouldn't be any power gain (or loss) because there is no change in airflow and (if you used the recommended injectors) no change in AFR's. Unless there was a problem with the old injectors, the gains are probably just in your head...

Well, I neglected to mention while waiting for my ecu back, I replaced the stock airbox with a cone filter, installed an e-fan.

And the real reason for my noticable gain, my boost level went from 6ish psi to 9-10 psi.

I think you'd agree that changes things.
