This trip was a last minute thing at work, it just worked out that I was going to be in NC when the DGRR went on. You should really consider doing it, it won't be a cheap trip though.

I want to go to Sevenstock, we'll see, if it's on my birthday like it was this year I will try really hard to do it.

Yeah, I made sure I cleaned the car before I returned it. Removed the brake dust and put a little tire shine and you couldn't tell the difference. Though the next customer might run into metal to metal brakes. hehe

Yeah, as of 2pm today I was at 57 hours of work for the week.

Alright, did some touch up on some of the ~wavey~ sections and got the car all taped up for the spray on "Mud". Also fixed one of my fender vents with the nifty plastic welder I got. Well worth the money buying that kit. Also, for those who have hood struts, you might want to grind off the excess material on the hood mounted pivot tab. It won't sit properly otherwise.

Alright, Leo helped me put on the spray-on bondo, 3mm thick! After looking at the options I'm going to try and see if I can rent are booth and have Leo paint it.

On of two videos I took while I was at DGRR. I suggest watching it in a dark room. Enjoy

Placed an order for the new Racing Brake big brake kit. Upgrading all four corners, really good price too since I will be one of the first to get it.

http://www.racingbrake.com/RX7_REAR_...2107-351-0.htm

I will also be ordering my seats, I ditched the idea of modifying the stockers'.

You mean you aren't going to do it after I spent all that time taking the old covers off Looking good Holmes. So you going to make it on the 25th Lotus day ?

Ya, sorry about that, the more I looked at the seats and what I really wanted. I gave up on the idea of modifying the seats. I need something that's more competition oriented, the stockers provide crappy lateral support. I do appreciate your help though.

I give it my best.

I'm also getting these....

Sanded the left rear quarter panel and the roof....(Borat) Very nice!

After looking at the dimensioning of the Evo 3's I went with Evo 2s'. It's going to be tight, may have to modify the center console and possibly the door panels to get the seats to fit. Well see. http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_comp.asp?id=469 Went through Speed Concept off of TV highway http://speedconcept.com/. Got a 20% discount on both the seats and wheels. The wheels will take some time to get, custom ordered set from Japan.

Got my seats in Yesterday, it's going to be a tight fit, but it will work. Will have to modify the floor and make custom side mounts for them.

See picture for Snap-On plastic welder part number and the a view of the emblem hole I filled on the rear bumper. View of surface before I sanded.
