How much horsepower does an FD need to keep up with 800+HP SUPRAS???

How much horsepower does an FD need to keep up with 800+HP SUPRAS???

On the highway i know its a different story...how does the 7 do against 800+HP SUPRAS, VETTES, VIPERS..ETC...does the 7 have a chance???

Power to weight ratio and traction is important. It only takes 300rwhp for an FD to keep up, if not beat a BPU Supra (typically has around 400rwhp) It also helps to have a good driver

An FD needs about 550hp or so to keep up with an 800hp supra.

I'll agree that a 7 needs 550hp to hang with a average 800hp at the strip as far as e.t goes, but from a roll on the highway their practically unbeatable. When you trap 138-150 it is hard to lose from a roll.. ya know?
