There is a guy that tunes PFC in Miami. He used to work for South Florida Performance. I don't have his contact info but it's just an attempt to help since Crispeed doesn't mess with PFC too much. There are also PFC maps posted on this site that people upload, maybe you can get the closest setup to yours? Good luck

When it comes to tuning, leave it for the best.
Crispeed
Pettit
Japtrix
I wouldnt trust anyone else. All of those names are known for quality and reliability. Remember a bad tune, and that motor and/or turbo goes bye bye.

Like for instance when Charlie Maldonado of Turbo Clinic gives me a receipt and his shop on SW 128th Street bears his name.
or Dennis DeSilva of High Tech Auto always gives me a receipt and his shop near Marlin Rd actually has a sign with the same name.
also Alex Lopez of Lopez Racing gives me a receipt as well and he has a shop with his name on it.
When it comes to leaving it for the best... well yeah but they have to be legitimate businesses with receipts and licenses... if you dont have that what claim do you have.
I learned the hard way when i had one of the guys who went to the first meet in Kendall sell me a motor that supposedly has 34k miles..He installed the motor . all that **** was cash except for the last portion which i had to have documented since i was not getting a receipt of the work performed on my ex-vert. The engine turned out to be smoking quite a bit and had a sleu of problems... Charlie found it to be a bad motor and that I was taken... that motor is now history... its in Rotary Heaven Junkyard. I had to get a brand new motor with receipts to make sure that i wasnt going to have problems if problems arose. I had to have a receipt of some kind to be able to make a claim.
So if you go to any of the RX7 Tuners that you mentioned above.. just make sure they give you a receipt. and make sure there is a sign at that place of business.. do they even have a phone that is answered.... Cover your *** man .. get that **** in writing.
There are plenty of shops that do not advertise with a big sign out
front. The reason is simple - they have their own exclusive clientele, and
do not need "walk-ins". May work on high-End or Race Cars only, and don't
work on regular street cars.
Hell, the guy who rebuilt my engine (Andres) did it in his garage at home, I guess he's not good either, since he chooses to not have a big shop, with a big sign. Luckily, I have a good relationship with my tuner/mechanic/friends that I know they would honor and repair something if they screwed up.
Just for the Record:
Crispeed does NOT do general mechanics.
He does not advertise, as he has plenty of business.
His business is by referral only.
To get your car in the shop,
1) You have to have been on a waiting list, that is literally
over a year to wait.
2) That's also if he wants to work on your car.
You can show up tomorrow with a Three Rotor third gen, and
$X amount of money, and it won't make any difference in getting
your car in the shop any sooner.
Cris does only high-end work, fabrication, and high-end tuning.
He takes his time, but he does it right.
He also doesn't tune any rotary that he did not install the ECU.
This is because many of the "experts" out there don't know
how to properly install an ECU on a rotary, and he got tired
of having to re-wire the whole thing.
Remember guys, The menu has three items:
1) Cheap
2) Fast
3) Reliable
You can only pick two of the above.

Anybody can tun-a-fish, not everybody can tune a piano.

I have had Crispeed tuned rotaries and I have never felt power or drivability like that since. The car idled better than stock, even got better mileage. I did not see a billboard with a 1-800-Crispeed sign or a bunch of ragged out cars with a colorful Crispeed logo to draw me to the shop. I am fortunate enough to know him personally and I don't think the man has anything to prove, or even that he cares what people new to rotary scene have to say.
He's constantly fixing cars built by other people. They never run right and they leave the shop with much more usable power and drivability. Back when I had time to hang around the shop more it was like a who's who of the rotary world every night. It was one of the reasons he always was delayed on his work, everybody coming for advice and tuning help. When we would go racing everybody knew and respected him no matter what part of the country we were in. Sometimes they even asked him to touch the car for good luck , I guess jokingly. I have never seen somebody build so many mega power street cars that run consistent and be so competitive professionally without any sponsorship or help.

I guess that's why he didn't return my pm
